This website and its domain are for sale and Las Cruces Landscapers is not an operating landscaping business. The quote, photo and landscaper sign-up forms are turned off. The only form that works is the offer form: it sends your name, email, optional phone, offer and message to Victor by email, to answer you. The sections below describe the forms the finished website comes with.
The short version: the only personal information this website collects is what you type into its forms, plus any photos you choose to attach. It comes to Victor by email and is used to answer your request. With your OK, a quote request is passed to the one landscaper who'll do the work. We never sell it. This site sets no cookies and runs no trackers, analytics or ads.
1Who is responsible for your information
Las Cruces Landscapers is run by Hope Sandoval LLC, based in Las Cruces, NM. You can reach us at vrsandy45@gmail.com.
2What the forms collect
The quote forms ask for your name and phone number, whether you need yard upkeep or an install, a description of the job, and a tick box saying it's OK to share your request with the landscaper who'll do the work. Email and photos are optional. Please don't put payment card numbers, bank details or Social Security numbers in a form. We never need them there.
The landscaper sign-up form asks for a landscaper's name, business name, phone, email, the work they do, the towns they cover, crew size, years in business, their New Mexico gross receipts tax ID, whether they carry liability insurance, and their New Mexico CID license number if they do install work.
The "Do we work in your area?" check runs entirely in your own browser. The ZIP code you type there is not sent to us or anyone else.
3Photos
Photos help us understand the job and send the right landscaper. We use them for that only, and, with your OK, the landscaper who'll do the work sees them too. Before they're sent, your phone or computer shrinks them and removes the location data phones hide in photos. We don't post them online or use them in advertising unless you give us written permission first. They are stored with your request in our website host's account (Netlify), under a long, unlisted web address, and we delete them within 90 days of your request.
4What we do with it
Your request comes to Victor by email. We use it to get back to you, give you a price, and arrange the work if you go ahead.
Sharing it with one landscaper. The work is done by a vetted local landscaper we work with, or, for installs, one we connect you with. Only if you tick the box saying it's OK, we pass your request (your name, phone, email if you gave it, what you need, and any photos) to the one landscaper who'll do that job, so they know the work and can reach you. We ask them to use it for your job only. We don't share it with anyone else.
Landscaper sign-ups are kept so we can check the landscaper (tax ID, insurance, license for install work) and send them work. We don't share them with anyone, except to confirm a license or an insurance certificate with the office or company that issued it.
We don't sell, rent or trade your information, and we don't add you to a marketing list because you asked for a quote or signed up.
5Who else handles it
Netlify hosts this website and delivers the forms to us. Like any web host, it keeps server logs, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.
Our email provider (Google, for Gmail) holds the form notifications in our inbox.
Square takes card payments for yard upkeep once the work is done. Your card details go to Square, never to us or this website, and Square's privacy policy covers them.
The fonts on this site are stored on the site itself, so loading a page doesn't contact Google or any other font service.
6Cookies, and what's kept in your browser
This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or social media trackers, which is why there is no cookie banner. If that ever changes, a banner will ask for your permission first and this section will be rewritten.
A few things are kept in your own browser's storage, on your device only, and never sent to us unless you send a form: a note of when you last sent a form, so the same request isn't sent twice by accident; and, if a page breaks, a note that it was reported that day. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes all of it.
If a page fails to work, the site may send us a short error report: the page, what went wrong, and the time. It never includes anything you typed.
7Calls and text messages
If you give us a mobile number, we use it to call or text you about your request and your job: quotes, scheduling and follow-up. We don't send marketing texts. Reply STOP to any text to stop them.
8How long we keep it
Requests that don't turn into work are deleted within about 12 months. Photos go sooner, as described above. Landscaper sign-ups are kept while we work together, and deleted within about 12 months after we stop, or sooner if you ask. Records of jobs we do, such as invoices, are kept as long as tax law requires.
9Keeping it safe
The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and it runs strict security settings that block code from other websites. No business can promise a system can never be breached, but we keep what you send to what we actually need.
10Asking us to delete it
Email us to ask what we hold about you or to have it deleted. There's no form and no charge. We'll deal with it within 30 days, except for records the law requires us to keep.
11Children
This site is for homeowners, businesses and landscapers. It isn't aimed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
12Changes to this policy
If what we do with your information changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top is updated.
