We want everyone to be able to reach us and ask for a quote, including people who use a screen reader, magnification, voice control or a keyboard instead of a mouse. If anything here gets in your way, email vrsandy45@gmail.com and we'll help you directly.
What this site aims for
This site aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What has been done
- Every page works with a keyboard alone, and you can always see where you are on the page.
- Every form field has a visible label, and mistakes are explained in words next to the field.
- Photos have text descriptions, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Text is dark enough against its background to meet the WCAG AA contrast minimum. The site's build checks this for every color.
- Pages are organized with headings and labelled sections, so screen reader users can jump straight to what they need.
- There are no pop-ups and no time limits. The background video at the top of the home page has no sound and a Pause button, and it doesn't play on phones, without JavaScript, or when your device asks for reduced motion or less data: those visitors see a still picture. Animations stop if your device asks for reduced motion.
- Every form also works without JavaScript, including the photo quote form.
